As Chiropractors, we are specialized health care providers that assess and treat the musculoskeletal system. This includes problems that occur with or in combination of the muscles and joints in all areas of the body. A common misconception is that chiropractors are “back doctors” or only work on the spine. This isn’t true! Modern chiropractic cares looks at the entire system, from head to toe, in order to assess the true cause of your symptoms, not just where you feel them. Based on what the doctor feels is the most appropriate course of action joint manipulation or mobilization is used to help regain the normal function of the effected joints. Neck, wrist, foot, shoulder, back, knee, hip—you name it we work on it!
Spinal Traction Therapy
Spinal traction therapy is a form of spinal decompression therapy that helps to relieve existing pressure on the discs and joints of the spine. This type of therapy has been proven to improve conditions such as herniated discs, sciatica, foraminal encroachment, degenerative disc disease, and many others.
Posture/ Movement Analysis
Do your day-to-day activities cause you constant dull achy pain throughout your body? Sometimes to the point of accepting this pain as normal? Let us show you that things can be different, you can feel better! Our posture analysis/evaluation can help to identify what’s causing these symptoms, and treat you with the appropriate therapies to reduce pain and increase your daily productivity. Work hard and feel good doing it!
Movement Screenings are very important especially for athletes who are looking to perform at an optimal level. The doctors will evaluate a series of specific movements that help to identify any compensatory patterns in your biomechanics. This provides important information to the doctor about how your body moves and what may be causing (or may potentially cause) your pain or injury.
Myofascial Release Technique
MRT is a movement based soft tissue therapy that addresses issues involving a combination of muscles, tendons, and fascia. Its purpose is to help alleviate pain and restore appropriate range of motion by lengthening chronically shortened soft tissues. Application of monitored pressure, along with movement of the effected joint, helps to maximize the stretch. Overuse, trauma, and even inactivity can lead to the development of adhesion or scar tissue that can be effectively managed with MRT.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a soft tissue modality that enables doctors to effectively treat a variety of common/complicated conditions involving the muscle, tendon, ligament, and fascia. Using specially crafted stainless steel tools, the doctor is able to specifically detect and effectively treat the areas that demonstrate both myofascial fibrosis and acute/chronic inflammation. Conditions such as neck pain, muscle strains, carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, back pain, and more can benefit from this therapy.
Percussive therapy is primarily used to relieve muscle tightness and decrease pain by creating strong, rapid, short duration impulses to superficial and deep tissue. You may have seen some of your favorite professional athletes receiving this therapy on the sidelines during games; come experience this for yourself and see what all the hype is about!
Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), is an electrical therapy that helps to provide patients short-term pain relief. The doctor places small electrodes to the surface of the skin in the area of presenting symptoms. The electrical impulses can decrease the pain signals going to the spinal cord and brain, which decrease pain and help relax muscle.
Kinesiotaping (or proprioceptive taping) is used in our office after an injury occurs to queue the patient’s brain in avoiding certain symptom-provoking positions. Thin adhesive strips of waterproof tape are used to improve the joints’ spatial awareness and reduce the likelihood of re-injury.

Non-Medicare Health Insurance: We are “out-of-network” for all insurance providers. For more information on out-of-network benefits, calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card can answer the questions you may have. We will happily provide a “superbill” at the time of rendered services, which will allow you to file a claim. The insurance company will then process the claim and any reimbursement will be sent directly to you. (A “superbill” will also validate your expenses when using an HSA/FSA card.)
Medicare is accepted as a non-participating physician – We will collect the full amount at the time of services rendered and submit your billing for you. The intricacies of this plan will be explained in further detail at your first visit.
All payments for rendered services are payable at time they are provided. We accept cash, check, and VISA/MasterCard.
