Welcome to EPIC Chiropractic, we’re glad you found us! The fact you’re here tells us a few things about you already. You care about your body and are interested in preventing an injury or illness, you’re curious about our clinic and what chiropractic can do for you, or you’re currently suffering from symptoms of a condition you’ve heard a Chiropractor can help with. You came to the right place because we have the answer!
What does a visit consist of and how we approach the conditions resolution
Our doctors use the most up-to-date diagnostic tools and information to determine what’s causing the problem and what type of care will be the most effective in treating the problem.
At EPIC we put you first. Plain and simple. We treat each patient as an individual with his or her own unique condition. This is a pillar in the way we do work, because we know the rate at which each individual heals is also unique.
On the first visit, our doctors will take a thorough history, assess your posture/gait, and perform a detailed examination to help determine the cause of your condition. You should allot approximately 1 hour for the initial consultation (all subsequent visits will be approximately 20-30 minutes.) The follow-up visit should be scheduled within 48 hours of the initial consultation, and will consist of your review of findings. During this visit the doctor will go over what he’s determined the problem is and how he can help you. Based on his findings and your response to the first trial of care, the doctor will suggest the most appropriate management.
Meet the Doc
Dr. Tyler E. Barton, DC
Tyler E. Barton, DC is one of the founders and co-owners of Epic Chiropractic. He attended The Pennsylvania State University where he received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. His interests in sport, health, and the human body led him to pursue a career in the holistic, drug-free approach of chiropractic care.
He completed his chiropractic studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. While attending Palmer, Dr. Barton was a member of the Palmer West Sports Council where he had the opportunity to treat high-level athletes at Bay area events such as The Sea Otter Classic, and The Jensie Gran Fondo of Marin. His on-field experience helped him develop the necessary skills to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with injuries of all types. Dr. Tyler also treated body builders of all levels from IFBB Pro to amateur during his time at the Palmer clinic. His care focused on treating the body as one system to identify the cause, resolve the problem, and optimize performance in the gym, on the stage, and in life.
After completing both curriculum and clinic requirements, Dr. Barton graduated from Palmer where he was inducted into Pi Tau Delta, the international chiropractic honors society, and graduated with cum laude honors. He also received the Clinical Excellence Award, which is presented to the member of the graduating class who best exemplified the skills and qualities expected of a Palmer doctor. This award recipient is selected by the 6 mentor clinicians of the Palmer clinic, and given to the individual that exceeds expectations in their quality of patient care, leadership potential, knowledge, skills and service.
